Disneyland Vacation

Our family spent the past week on vacation where magic comes to life at Disneyland! We had a great time doing all the typical things families do at Disneyland - take pictures with characters, eat, shop, ride the rides, eat, started pin trading (thanks a lot Anderson's - we used to think you were crazy - now we are), eat, more pictures, more rides, more eating, more rides and a little bit of sleep.

Mom's favorite character is Pooh and second is Tigger. We enjoyed getting into the park early and eating breakfast with lots of Disney characters.

Everybody had a partner and Palmer rode on everybody's shoulders.

Thankfully we were able to visit with Jessie while all the big kids rode on "Screamin".

Our most favorite ride of all is the new Toy Story arcade game. It is so much fun! We rode it several times and kept going back for more trying to improve our scores!

Another favorite was "Soarin California". Palmer was exactly 40" and managed to get on lots of rides and didn't have any fears of flying!

Wednesday was beach excursion day which could be compared to the kids book "The Big Honey Hunt." We drove all the way to San Diego and spent a bunch of time in the car and ended up back at Huntington Beach.

We did lunch one afternoon at "Ariel's Grotto" which is a fine dining experience with the princesses. Palmer loved the princesses, the little girls were mesmerized and Davis and Mason were star struck. The look in Britney's eyes is priceless.

Dad, Davis Shelby and Brianna all took turns carrying Palmer on their shoulders.

Getting a picture with everybody looking at the camera at the same time and smiling in under a minute is quite the challenge.

Can it get any better than this? Five Disney characters all to ourself and NO LINES!
