Our family always looks forward to the annual Orem Summerfest. We go to the carnival (which is one of my most UNFAVORITE things to do), walk through the boutique, look at old cars, check out helicopters, eat greasy food, watch the parade, see how many times we can walk to Panda Express and use their bathroom and not buy any food (I think the count is 4 times in 4 hours) and OOOOOHHHH and AAAAAHHHH at the fireworks! This year though the festivities were not considered a "Summerfest" but a "Rainfest". Yes the sky is blue at the moment but it was dark gray and pouring rain most of the day and we wore coats, gloves and hats to watch the parade. The rain did stop for the fireworks and it was a great show!
Grammy and Granddad, Uncle Brian & Aunt Karen and their kids, Uncle Rob & Aunt Nikki and our neighbors the Roper's and some of their grandkids (who are friends with our kids) all had fun playing and hanging out at the parade.
I love the last picture with the 4 girls! and that night was so fun, my first time watching the parade in 4 years! too bad you can't take pictures of fireworks, they were great :)
