One More Thing!

Life is never boring at our house and full of adventures - you know like speeding tickets, scratching the cars - and then the pool. Tuesday night we forgot to turn off the slide (when I closed the pool the slide was off but didn't realize the timer had turned off and the kids didn't tell me the slide had been on - why would they?)! In the middle of the night (I think after I had woke up at 3:05 am when Brianna came home from the movie) I heard Tuffy barking wildly and I woke up enough to think "why is Tuffy barking - he only barks like that when the pool is being opened - oh well" and went back to sleep. (This was probably at 4:00 am when this thought crossed my mind.) When Ralph got up at 7:00 (I was downstairs on the bike exercising) he saw the pool. Because the slide was never shut off when the timer came on at midnight it started running and half of the pool water was outside of the pool on the pool cover. (Of course we had paid to have the pool cover fixed already this week on Monday.) It was quite the mess. I didn't think to take a picture - just thought to pray and ask for help - something else broken? It took all day to get the pool water pumped off the pool cover and back into the pool (locked the kids inside the house). Then everything worked - the pool cover, the pump and the slide. Scouts swam at our house last until 9:30 and all was well. Prayers work!
