Happy New Year

Happy New Year! We have taken it easy - somewhat - taking down Christmas and this year organizing and cleaning out all the decorations (love to organize and throw out). Sick kids - taking turns passing around colds, coughs, sore throats and stomach flu (I missed church 2 of last 3 Sundays taking care of sick kids - glad we don't have chickenpox). New year's eve dinner with some friends with yummy food and desserts. Snow plowing for Ralph and shoveling at home for Mom and kids. Trying to fix computers that got viruses (no more facebook at our house). Lots of eating and very little exercising. Set new years goals with kids. Funny thing - Ashten set a goal to be nice to her brothers and sisters and then was mean to Lochlyn. Brianna told her to remember her new year goal and that she should go talk to her and be nice. Ashten said, "I want to change my goal. I don't want to work on being nice. I'm going to work on repentance instead." She makes us laugh - needless to say she is usually very nice!
