What's That Smell?

For over a week Brianna and I kept smelling something stinky about Palmer - not the normal boy smell. The stink would come and go - we kept thinking he was sick with the sick smell in his mouth (mom's know what I'm talking about). We kept telling Palmer he had "poo breath". He has also had a non-stop runny nose which was very sore from wiping it all the time. This morning I smelled the stink again but it was stronger. After investigating (that's what mom's do) I figured out his breath didn't stink at all (it shouldn't after all the brushing this week with minty toothpaste trying to cure the smell) but it was his nose that was stinky. Then after further investigating discovered something stuck clear up his nose. So another trip to the doctor's office and a piece of a sponge was extracted from his nose (why can't all my kids be as brave as Palmer?). He also has an infection now due to the sponge stuck in his nose for more than a few days and is starting an antibiotic. If you ask Palmer he says he is all better because "Dr. Myers pulled the poop from his nose!" He really must have felt better because he came home and ate a huge hamburger and a peanut butter sandwich. Just another one of those Abbott Family Adventures!
