Sunday Responsibilities
I used to think that as the kids got older I would get a Sunday nap. I don't know what I was thinking. Brianna had to play the piano at Stonewood (an assisted living retirement home in our neighborhood), Shelby went to a meeting, Davis had Priesthood responsibilities and then Davis and Mason went with Brianna. So who was left - Dad fell asleep and Mom and the little kids. So what did we do? We practiced our potty training skills (not very well because when Mom wasn't looking Palmer went and changed into pull-ups so he wouldn't have to use the toilet and then came and told me when he was done), made cookies, made a turkey dinner and fed the family and Grammy and Granddad. Thanks Shelby for going and peeling the potatoes when I wasn't in the kitchen and thanks Brianna for helping clean up the mess when I was done.

I'm still waiting for those naps! Now instead of kids, its filled with church work. Actually, I do get to sneak in one occasionally but never often enough! I LOVE YOU Lauralyn
