Whirlwind Weekend

Another whirlwind weekend has winded down. We started Saturday morning with a rifle shooting merit badge class for Davis and Dad. Everyone else started on the Saturday cleaning. Shelby and Mason went and helped a friend with his Eagle project. Then after a fast lunch there was the truck show at Thanksgiving Point (notice the cool M&M diesel truck - I bet Grandpa would like this truck). At 1:00 there was a football meeting for coaches and parents (yes - Ralph is coaching again) - luckily Mason and Davis get to be on the same tackle football team. Mountain View High School then had a pre-season luau fundraiser and scrimage game and Brianna got to show off her cheerleading skills as she begins her Senior year as a varsity cheerleader. All the girls went to a pageant while Palmer and Mom went grocery shopping at 7:00 (during which time we even managed to wash the car). We found some dinner to eat at 9:00 for those at home. Shelby needed a ride home from the multi-stake dance at 11:15 and at 11:45 pm everyone was in bed. Happy dreams!

Loved the M&M truck - so cool!

Very cute cheerleader!

Cute kids during Sunday family council.

Sunday evening was a Court of Honor where Davis earned 20 merit badges and his Star rank in Scouting (can you tell Mom looks tired).

The best way to end our typical whirlwind weekend is by eating homemade brownies. While I was stirring the brownies on the stove I heard Palmer say "yum butter". Yes Palmer was eating the butter. At least he knows what is good!
