Palmer is so dang cute (I know I have said that before) but he also has a naughty streak in him. Yesterday morning I had come in the house from taking Brianna to the dentist and told Palmer to go get me a diaper (we are still trying to get him potty trained). I gave everyone instructions on what they were supposed to do but then I couldn't find Palmer. We searched the house up and down - yelling his name. Then we checked the yard and started checking the neighborhood. After about 15 minutes of looking (I did a feeling check - and wasn't worried) went back to the house and found him. He was hiding behind a big chair in the great room by the kitchen - smiling.
Then later in the afternoon Palmer took a nap. He woke up and was fussing and couldn't open his door and nobody paid attention to get him out. I was doing my hair and I didn't hear him. Once I did hear Palmer I went to get him and man it was a stinky mess! You will have to use your imagination here because I decided not to take a picture of what I found. Palmer had taken off his diaper and pooped. He did not like the poop on him though and was trying to get it off and wiped it everywhere! The bed, dressers, floor, rug and walls were all smeared with stinky handprints! I had an emergency call to the carpet cleaner and thankfully they came (they are always at our house).
Naughty or nice - you get the picture. It is a good thing he is so cute! We love you Palmer!
I think nearly every parent has a poop story! Only a parent (or maybe grandparent ... I haven't tested this theory yet ... don't really want to) could end up thinking the perpetrator is cute. :-) Love the blog, Paula.
