The slushy machine is still running from yesterday (have to let it run until it is all gone - we only filled it up 3 times yesterday). Palmer had at least five before he took his nap. During his nap while most everyone else was sleeping he quietly went downstairs and got himself another slushy and finished his nap outside in the sun.
He made himself his own bed and enjoyed his slushy - outside where nobody could tell him no more.
He offered me a spot to lay by him but the brick deck is not my kind of a nap.
After Sunday dinner everybody drank slushies (Palmer's 7th) and Shelby read "Lemonade War" to some of the kids.

i love that kid. i like slushies too. so nice to have big kids read to the little kids.
