Random Photos

This is supposed to be Batman and Robin but Robin forgot his costume!

Face painting at the youth Halloween party!

I went outside to check on the kids a couple of days ago and they were playing Barbies - except for Palmer was playing Superman. Man I love homeschool!

We went to a chemistry magic show at BYUand Palmer kicked back and made himself right at home. We should all put our feet up a little more often!

Ralph keeps our yard very clean - we never have any leaves. We love the beautiful yard but the kids really want some leaves to jump into. I found them running across the yard and picking up leaves from the corner of the driveway by the golfcart and bringing them back to the grass. They made a big mess (which Dad cleaned up) but had so much fun.

Palmer kept standing on the wall and jumping into the leaves (I know what leaves). He would jump like he was on the tramp landing flat on his butt in this small pile they managed to make. It was very funny. Too bad they can't have the real kind of fun with piles and piles of leaves which actually would cushion your jump! I loved doing that when I was a kid. We actually had so many leaves I remember making the outlines of houses in the front yard and setting up the bedrooms and making beds out of leaves and pillows and then playing for what seemed to be hours in the leaves. So much fun and so many memories!

They were so excited they kept running for more - too bad it was windy!

I came into the kitchen the other morning and found Palmer making his snack. He was hungry and wanted a peanut butter sandwich. I guess nobody listened to him when he said "I'm hungry". He was very into his creation - check out his tongue! He figured a large wooden spoon would help him get more peanut butter on his bread.

Family party when Ralph's sister Ann was visiting from Florida.

I love this guy (and the pumpkin pie too!)

  2. What a fun time of year! Yes, leaves are great fun. When we were on the farm our kids did the same thing but there were mounds of leaves from huge trees in their grandparents front yard. At least your kids were creative and made do with what they had!
