Tonight for family home evening we had the sweet treat of our own private musical concert from musician Sam Cardon. Sam is a well known musician, composer and producer. Sam and his wife Tammy grew up in Farmington, New Mexico with Ralph. Now we are blessed to have Sam as our home teacher. He gave us a gift last Christmas which we finally redeemed tonight of our own musical concert. It was so much fun as he played lots of holiday music, original music he composed, movie theme songs and many of the kids requests. He showed the kids how he learened to play the piano with his nose due to a broken arm in Jr. High and he also played the piano backwards. He finished by playing one of our favorite hymns, "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief." Of course we ended our fun family night with dessert (warm bread pudding) and hopefully a renewed effort of all the kids to start practicing the piano with a smile! Thank you Sam and Tammy for the special evening and sharing your talent with our family!
