Then later on after finally getting Palmer ready for bed we had ANOTHER heart to heart talk about what it means to be a Big Boy (you know - go potty in the toilet - none of the other kids have been this difficult to train! :)) I have run out of ideas, motivational tools, techniques and patience - so let's try psychology. I got out the portable "baby" bed and we discussed that if you can't be a "Big Boy" you have to sleep in the "baby" bed (I was going on no sleep). I asked Palmer to repeat to me the consequences of his actions and he said: "If I don't go potty in the toilet I have to sleep in the kennel." Puppy training - toddler training - is there a difference? I love you Palmer - your my guy!

Big Boy
Palmer is the ultimate youngest child! He keeps us on our toes ALL THE TIME and keeps us laughing all at once. Last night he wanted to go swimming but Mom said no (I wanted to go to bed after being up all night helping with the grad night party, baseball ALL day and a big headache!) So Palmer had his own party - while everyone was getting ready for bed he got on his swimsuit, the pool toys, the . . . well you get the picture!
