Monday Monday

Isn't there a song about Monday Monday? Well this Monday went a little like this: Mom wakes up with a cold and cough the kids so willingly shared with me. We then started to help Mason clean his room since he needed a little help - did I say little? It took two adults over 5 hours each (it was raining this am so Ralph started helping me) to clean out two bedrooms which are occupied (at least for the moment - haha) by 3 boys. The outcome of this LONG day was lots of garbage to throw out and clothes to donate to DI and laundry - almost ALL of the clothes in the drawers that look like they are supposedly organized in this picture are actually dirty!

We also had piano lessons, school, and Ralph saved the dog (hopefully Jessie has at least 9 lives)- Palmer decided to try and bathe the dog by himself in hot water in the bathroom sink. Of course there was baseball practice, school for Bri and a tired Mom who requested we go out to dinner (thanks Dad)!

For family night we went to see Shelby in a condensed version of "Seussical the Musical". She has been taking theater classes for the past 6 months and tonight was their performance. She did a great job and had a lot of fun. Way to go Shelby! (We were also glad that Palmer managed to not fall on his face during the performance while he climbed back and forth over the top of the chairs - Mom and Dad were too tired to care - hey he was being quiet!)
