Onions Anyone?

For at least three years the kids have been asking to plant a garden. We do not have a garden area in our yard (now I know what I want for Christmas) so we are helping Grammy and Granddad with a large family garden this year. On Monday night we went and helped pick up rocks and finish prepping the garden area. Then we planted onions. Granddad wanted onions (LOTS of them - maybe we'll learn to like onions) and then we planted MORE onions. Then in the middle of the onions we planted carrots. This will be quite the project this summer and hopefully we will all learn some more about how to work - possibly even some deeper insights to the story of "The Little Red Hen".
